Members present: Mr. John Minor V, Chairman; Mr. David Elrod, Dr. John Fuchko III, Dr. Sharon Hixon, Ms. Cindy Howalt, Ms. Tangela Johnson, Ms. Michelle Koneman, Ms. Julie Patterson, Mr. Scott Smith, Ms. Jessica Triviño, and Mr. Larry Winter.
Members absent: None
Quorum established
Chairman John Minor V called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m., and a quorum was confirmed. The Board voted 10-0 to add approval of the September 15 meeting minutes to the agenda. The Board voted 9-0 to approve the September 15 meeting minutes.
Executive Session: Personnel matters
The Board voted 10-0 to go into Executive Session to discuss personnel matters and then voted 10-0 to return to public meeting.
Action Items:
Head of School position. The Board voted 10-0 to continue discussions with two finalists for the Head of School position.
Gift agreements. The Board voted 10-0 to authorize the Board Chairman to sign gift agreements on behalf of the LEARNING Foundation of Georgia.

Chairman Minor adjourned the meeting at 7:29 p.m.
