Members present: Mr. John T. Minor V (Chairman), Mr. David Elrod, Dr. John Fuchko III, Dr. Sharon Hixon, Ms. Cindy Howalt, Ms. Tangela Johnson, Ms. Julie Patterson, Ms. Jessica Triviño, and Mr. Larry Winter. A quorum was present.
Members absent: None
Action Items:
- Approved minutes of the July 21, 2026, meeting;
- Elected Dr. Michelle Koneman and Mr. Scott Smith to the Board of Directors effective August 11 for the 2026-2029 term; and
- Approved trial of Aureclar board governance platform.

- Treasurer’s report for the month ending July 31, 2026;
- August 7 news release on Learning Academy progress;
- Head of School search update;
- Facility plans for the Learning Academy at the Boys & Girls Club; and
- Suggestions regarding future agenda items and potential partnerships.
